This story is a bit different. I became friends with Paulina around three years ago. She was part of the circle of friends I hung out with then. I actually became quite fond of her.

She also happened to be Crystal's (Laura) roommate at the time of her death. In fact, I picked up Paulina and was with her and other friends at the hospital that night, when the doctor informed the group that Laura had died.

Paulina was greatly affected by that tragedy and basically dropped out of the scene. After that night, I did not have an opportunity to speak to her again until a few months ago, when Melissa and I ran into her. We just had a few minutes of small talk.

I've always liked Paulina and thought she would be a good model here, although I never expected it to happen. Then one day, Melissa called me and said "I have a new model for you". Melissa brought her over that evening for a quick photoshoot. They couldn't stay long enough for me to even do the usual interview.

I still haven't had a real conversation with Paulina since that event, but I think she is still affected by it. I just hope she'll be OK.
